Use this guide to export GeoTag tracker history or reports for a specific date range. It is useful when you need to share movement records, location summaries or last-seen activity with a client, colleague or internal team.
Before you start
Make sure you can access the tracker or asset in GeoTag and that you have permission to view its data. If you are exporting a large date range, allow extra time for the report to generate.
How to export tracker history or reports
- Open the GeoTag app and select the tracker or asset you want to review.
- Open the Replay / history tool.
- Choose the date range you need.
- Run the date range
- Export as a file for sharing or record keeping.
Tips for sharing reports
- Keep the export focused on the tracker and date range you actually need.
- For longer periods, give the report a little extra time to generate.
- Check the file before sending it to make sure it includes the right dates and asset.
If the export is missing data
- Confirm the tracker was active during the period you selected.
- Check that you have permission to view that asset and its history.
- Try the export again with a narrower date range.
- If the issue continues, contact support with the tracker name, date range and report type you selected.
