Every GeoTag ships with a 10-minute positioning interval. This short tutorial shows you how to change it remotely for any tracker, to save battery or to get updates more often.

On a small screen, open the tutorial in a new tab instead.
Steps
- Select the GeoTag to open its pop-up card. The card shows when it last pinged.
- Open the interval menu.
- Choose a new interval, for example 30 minutes to conserve standby battery, or a shorter one for near real-time updates.
- Confirm the change.
Good to know
- The new interval takes effect the next time the GeoTag gets a GPS fix, so it may not change until the tracker next moves.
- Longer intervals conserve standby battery. Shorter intervals give near real-time tracking when visibility matters most.
- You can set any interval from 1 minute to 60 minutes.
